Like many, my personal journey to becoming a mother was not an easy one. I struggled through several miscarriages that impacted me in profound ways I could never imagine possible. As a certified yoga instructor, I was fortunate enough to know that through yoga I had some tools to find peace on my yoga mat. It became the one place I could find much needed solace and answers to complex questions. Through meditation, breathing techniques and gentle yoga poses, in time I eventually found the strength to work through one of the most difficult times of my life.
I created Healing Hearts Yoga with the intention of bringing others together to help one another heal. I hope to foster a positive and healing community that will help others develop a set of mindfulness skills to carry them through the next phases of their lives. Although every person is unique in the way they process a pregnancy loss, it is common to experience a wide range of complex emotions. Here is a list of resources others have found helpful.
